Best gym/club in NYC, just wish they understood overcrowding. Definitely can't go between 5-8pm on a weekday. Or 8-10am on a weekday. Or the weekends before noon.

Equinox is a high-end gym chain with locations all over the United States. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, with a wide range of equipment and classes to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is usually a good selection of fitness classes available at all hours of the day. The only downside is that memberships can be expensive, but for those who can afford it, Equinox is definitely worth it. Overall, it's a great place to get in shape and stay healthy.

Awful. Go to a gym that doesn’t rob you of every cent.

If I had known what I know now I would of never of used this company..I have been paying insurance on my TV for the last 4 yrs and now I needed their help.
I was told my claim has been sent over and I am to phone them.. which I did, to be told I have to wait in the que and they will phone me back within 1 day. 5 days later nothing... So again I phone them... Yes another 50 minn wait in the que was number 8.
Was told they have decided they will come and collect the TV and fix it, but they can't come get it to another weeks time and will take about a month to get it fixed.
I ALSO NOW CAN SEE THIS IS HOW THEY WORK AND DO THIS TO EVERYONE.!!!!.
TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE.

They 4get we have paid monthly 2 ask for this help... And they owe us.
I have other insurances and I'm now about to cancel them all.

I love their classes in NYC at Columbus Circle. Great trainers and great classes. The bathrooms are also great and nobody can beat Kohl's products.

Overpriced overated. Nothing special. Sadly, The classes are not the draw for this gym anymore.

Disgusting place, terrible management, stuck up members (no, its not a kensington thing) and a brothel, to say the least. The new manager walks around thinking he's the bees knees but does bugger all. I won't be returning post-lockdown, as desperate as I am to use a gym again.

They don't follow through on the referral bonuses. I referred 4 people ($150 x 4). They lied and said that the bonuses would apply to future billing cycles. They never did, and their only remedy was to have me re-join the gym.

Highly overrated gym. You can find much better premium/luxury gyms in London. The new French manager especially is very arrogant and unfriendly, almost seems lost and inexperienced. I feel bad for the staff that work there as they all look gaunt and tired. Think twice before joining... (not to mention unjoining after they tie you into a 12 month and come up with all this BS about it being only 3 months. Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy!)

I was an Equinox member in NYC for many years. I mainly do yoga, and I can vouch that their yoga program is top notch. Excellent teachers, beautiful clean studio space.

Some of the worst customer service. Definitely in the fitness business, especially with the corporate office in NYC. Even with proof signed by a medical doctor, the company still ignored my request to be waived from the gym membership monthly fee. They promised I wouldn’t owe anything more, yet still send me letters and emails saying to pay. My life lesson: Never give in to the annual contract for companies, especially gym memberships.
