"Nice amenities, though maybe the locker rooms need a little attention"
Overall, I thought the amenities were good and I had a decent experience. The locker rooms did seem to get a bit messy, though maybe I just caught them at a busy time. Still, it’d be nice if they were kept a little cleaner

"Honestly, my trainer is the only reason I’ve stuck with it"
I booked personal training through Equinox, it’s been way better than I expected. I usually lose motivation so fast, especially when workouts start feeling like a chore, but my trainer has actually kept me going. They push me enough that I’m not just wasting my time, but not so much that I leave feeling completely destroyed and annoyed. It’s only been a few weeks, but I already feel stronger, which is kind of wild. I hate admitting it, but having someone keep me accountable really does make a difference.

"I’ve been going to this club for a..."
I’ve been going to this club for a few months now, the atmosphere has been great. People are friendly without being pushy, which I really appreciate. It feels like everyone respects each other’s space and is just there to better themselves, which is how a gym should be. I’ve also gotten to know a couple of regulars, and they’ve definitely made workouts feel more fun and welcoming.

"Support did get back to me in..."
Support did get back to me in the end, but I had to follow up twice before getting a response. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it did leave me feeling a little frustrated and not fully taken care of.

"Pretty much exactly what I hoped for"
I had a feeling the instructors here were going to be solid, every class has just confirmed that for me. The coaches actually seem to care, they pay attention, and they explain things in a way that makes it easy to understand. Every time I leave, I’m like, yep, this is why I keep coming back.

"Just way too crowded lately"
I like the gym overall, but it’s just been packed almost every time I go lately. It’s hard to get on the machines, the classes fill up really fast, and even the locker room feels cramped. For what it costs, I just expected them to manage the crowding a little better. It’s not a bad gym, just frustrating right now.

"A bit pricey, but I use it"
Yeah, it’s expensive. No doubt. But I actually use it a lot, so it feels mostly worth it.

"I’ve been happy with the classes overall..."
I’ve been happy with the classes overall. There are lots of options to choose from, which makes it easy to find something that fits your interests. The only downside is that the schedule isn’t always the most convenient, so it can be a little tricky to work around. Still, the classes themselves are good and worth checking out.

"Usually clean, but the care is hit or miss"
The locker room is generally clean enough, but it doesn’t always feel like anyone’s paying close attention. The showers especially can be a little rough sometimes, like they were rushed through or handled carelessly instead of actually being cleaned properly.

"Good gym, but cancelling was a hassle"
The gym itself was nice, and I don’t think I’m being unreasonable saying that. I paid for the membership and used it without any issues, so when I needed to cancel, I expected it to be straightforward. Instead, the billing side turned into a headache. I felt like I kept having to follow up just to get clear answers, and I ended up getting charged longer than I thought I should have. For what they charge, the cancellation process really should be easier. Not a terrible gym, but the whole experience left me frustrated.

"Way more professional than other places I’ve been"
I’ve been to a few gyms where the staff barely acknowledge you, so this place really stood out to me. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been polite and actually seems to know what they’re doing. The front desk helped me quickly, and the trainers answered my questions without making me feel awkward for asking. It feels like they care, which I don’t run into very often anymore

"Nice gear, if you can actually get to it"
I’ll give Equinox credit: the equipment is definitely solid. Most of the machines feel newer and smoother than what I’ve used at other gyms, everything is usually clean, and the weights aren’t all beat up. It has that polished “we definitely charge a lot for this” vibe, which is nice.
The weird part is how hard it can be to actually use some of it during busy hours. Benches and cable machines get claimed like there’s some underground agreement I’m not part of, and a few people seem to camp out forever like they’ve been assigned by corporate to block access. For what it costs, I expected the gear to feel a little less like a limited resource.
